District NIC Centre is at the forefront of IT revolution of the district since
its inception way back in late 80's.
It has come a long way in designing, developing, and implementing various IT
projects at the district.
It continues to assist district administration in its IT initiatives be it in
Elections, Land Records Project, etc.
Various time bound projects have been successfully implemented to the
satisfaction of district administration and there by
helping the citizens of the district in bridging the gap. Some of the recent
initiatives of NIC at the district level includes : -
Development & implementation of various IT projects for administrative use.
Training program for various government officials of the district.
Coordinating with various agencies for the smooth implementation of projects of
state & national importance.
The
NIC District Unit Buldhana has established in 1989. It is continuing helping in
the field of information and keeping themselves synchronized with the fast
changing world of IT.
The
Network services with software services makes this office unique in the distirct
for data warehousing and cyber-communication.
The
District Unit is having DirecWay, RAS finder as communication devices, Satellite
based Video Conferencing Studio is working . DAMA SCPC VSAT is installed for
this purpose, which is giving excellent results on the ground. Linux & Windows
based platforms for regular projects & monitoring software are also available.
DRDA: District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) has also been provided the necessary
assistance (Like BPL Survey,Habitation Survey,WebBased Ruralsoft..Etc) by this
office.
ELECTION: This office is also actively participating in the
election related activities. from starting to the end the role of NIC's District
Unit is very important. Polling team formation, its randomly deployment on the
Polling Stations/staff, Counting, Nomination, Transmission of Data and almost
all computerisation related activities are being performed by NIC.
LRC
:We are also supporting Land Records
Computerisation. The Software LMIS (Land Management Information System ) & PCIS
(Property Card Information System) developed by NIC,SDU,PUNE has been
implemented in all Tehsil level offices.
COURT:This office
has computerized the District & Sessions Court. Necessary training on software &
hardware has been provided to the District court staffs. Now the centre is fully
operational. DCIS (District Court Information System) has been installed.
OTHER : Record Room
Information System,The
weekly data under EGS Schmes (Proforma-A,B,C) is sent to
Mantralaya,Mumbai,Daily Rainfall
