About District
Buldhana district is located in the Amravati division of the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is located on the western border of the Vidarbha region and is 500 km from the state capital Mumbai. The district consists of 13 talukas: Buldhana, Chikhli, Mehkar, Lonar, Deulgaon Raja, Sindkhed Raja, Khamgaon, Shegaon, Jalgaon Jamod, Sangrampur, Nandura, Malkapur and Motala.
t is bordered by Madhya Pradesh to the north, Akola, Washim and Amravati districts to the east, Jalna district to the south, and Jalgaon and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar districts to the west. Khamgaon is the largest city in the district.
